Your DJ is looking stunning Robin, I don't know how long it will take you to quilt it. I haven't worked on mine for quite some time, as I have been carried away with other projects, hopefully this winter I will get the chance.
I think if you set goals for 'Two blocks a day' or even 'six blcks a week'!! YOU CAN DO IT!! But a DJ is a labor of love! I can't wait to see it finished!!
Well if it took you 4 1/2 just to baste, well, I can't even guess but I know it will take a while. It will be a great quilt to work on during the cold winter months.
Hi there! I'm a stay-at-home-mom who is fortunate to have an amazing husband, two wonderful little boys, and three feisty kitties. Crafting is my oasis.

ReplyDeleteHoly cow!! That's awesome! It's so big, I wouldn't have a clue how long it'll take. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed! How often do you plan to work on the quilting? Are you doing each block individually?

ReplyDeleteMy back feels your pain! That is a long time basting. Now, for how long it will take to hand quilt? I think a very long time! :)
