Look at what I did today...

thread basting my Jane Stickle quilt

Basted!!! Woo hoo!!!!

Many, many thanks to The Needle & I for allowing me to come in and use their classroom and tables (for 4-1/2 hours!) to get it done.

Any bets on how long it's going to take me to hand quilt it? :)

Your DJ is looking stunning Robin, I don't know how long it will take you to quilt it. I haven't worked on mine for quite some time, as I have been carried away with other projects, hopefully this winter I will get the chance.

Holy cow!! That's awesome! It's so big, I wouldn't have a clue how long it'll take. Good luck!!

I am so impressed! How often do you plan to work on the quilting? Are you doing each block individually?

I think if you set goals for 'Two blocks a day' or even 'six blcks a week'!! YOU CAN DO IT!! But a DJ is a labor of love! I can't wait to see it finished!!

4 1/2 hours of basting?? OMG! I am exhausted for you. LOL! I can't wait to see your progress.

Well if it took you 4 1/2 just to baste, well, I can't even guess but I know it will take a while. It will be a great quilt to work on during the cold winter months.

My back feels your pain! That is a long time basting. Now, for how long it will take to hand quilt? I think a very long time! :)
