Notes on block: My first bit of sewing since Flynn was born two weeks ago! It felt nice to do some stitching again. Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and the boys gave me a gift certificate to Keepsake Cottage Fabrics. I think I may use it to invest in a new Clover mini-iron. Mine has bit the dust. I was lucky not to scorch my fingers when trying to prep these melons with the big iron!
My older son also made me a super Mother’s Day gift at preschool. The picture is from a field trip we took in January to the Redmond Fire Department. And he painted the little heart! (Since he rarely goes into the art room at preschool, this is quite a special thing!) The little one continues to eat like a champ (and is even starting to do some sleeping at night now!). He’s a beautiful little boy, and I’m so grateful that he has become part of our family. We are so blessed to have two wonderful boys!
I am partial to boys myself but I really thought you were going to have a girl. LOL! You are truly blessed!
